Developer’s & Resale Companies
Why are prices so different for the same timeshare? Or Why are prices different on other websites or e-bay or what a developer sells them for? When the Resort Developer sells a timeshare, it’s overpriced. The original resort developer price does not reflect its actual price.
Each resort has to pay for its overhead first. The Developer of each Resort has marked up the price to cover the cost of freebies and gift certificates, phone rooms to set appointments, mailers and advertising, pitch rooms and all the costs that go along with a building to host these pitches. In addition, the pay very large commissions to highly trained and high pressure sales people and managers.
When you buy on the Resale Market - you will not buy for more than the price the Resort is selling them for - otherwise you would just buy from the Resort.
Timeshares are like new cars. They lose as much as 40% of their value the day they are bought if your buy from a Resort.
We first would like to know what you are looking for and what websites they have been looking at. We then would like to establish with you the original developers prices. "most of these timeshare's sold originally for 2 to 3 times (or give amount if you know it) what they are listed for".
Second, establish that each condo could have hundreds of sellers and each seller may want or request a different selling price - depending on their needs.
Regardless, the developers originally sold each timeshare we have listed and the timeshare you are buying on the resale market way below market prices. .
There is a difference between Value of a timeshare and Worth of a timeshare. Value is the price the resort sets. Value is also what the resort sells the timeshare for. Worth is what is can sell for on the resale market.
